Teriyaki Chicken and Rice

 Ingredients

Sauce

    1/4 cup Soy Sauce

    1/4 cup Wine

    1/4 cup Sugar

    1/4 tsp Ground ginger

    1 Clove Minced Garlic

    1/4 cup of water

Thinkener

    2 tsp Corn Flour

    2 Tbsp water

1 lb chicken thighs or breast

2 cups cooked rice. 

Instructions

1) Start rice per the package

2) Mix all of the sauce ingredients into one bowl and the thinkener ingredients into a seperate bowl

3) Cut the chicken into 1 inch cubes and pan fry chicken 3-5 minutes per side until done

3) Add sauce to the cooked chicken and simmer for 3 additional minutes

4) Remove chicken to a bowl

5) Add the thickener in two parts until fully mixed with sauce, cook on medium for 3-5 minutes until thickened. 

6) Add cooked rice to bowl and then chicken and sauce.

Oatmeal Raisin cookies with Chocolate chips


Oatmeal Raisin cookies with Chocolate chips

Ingredients 


14 tbsp butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup raisins
3 cups Quick cooking oats
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions



  1. Heat oven to 350. In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed until creamy
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well
  3. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt mix well
  4. Add oats, raisins, and chocolate chips mix well
  5. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet
  6. Bake 12-14 minutes

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread


Ingredients:

  • 3 medium bananas, divided
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 - 1 cup mini or regular chocolate chips

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×5 loaf pan with nonstick spray. then lightly flour.  Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl mash 2 of the bananas with a fork, leaving them slightly lumpy. Slice the remaining banana thinly, and set aside.
  • In a large bowl stir together the butter and sugar. Mix in the eggs and vanilla and stir until smooth. Add the sour cream, mashed bananas, baking soda, and salt, and stir until blended. Next mix in the flour until incorporated.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, and sliced banana.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 73 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean except for melted chocolate chips of course.
  • Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, and then using the parchment paper as handles, carefully lift the banana bread out of the pan to cool on a wire rack.
